Sunday - 220 lbs!!!
Posted on Sunday December 09, 2007 by Pete
I've had a good day so far. I slept in until 11 and woke up and had breakfast #1:
Dan Active L Casei Immunitas
42 gram protein shot
1 banana
1 hour later at 1200 pm, I had breakfast #2:
Oatmeal, wheat germ, 1 scoop of protein, cinnamon, instant coffee, banana, blueberries, blackberries, soy milk
I had a really good arm workout (bicep, tricep) workout yesterday, and even more exciting than that was that I weighed in at 220 lbs!!!! I was so excited about that. As I've mentioned before in some of my earlier posts, I would rather be bigger than super cut. I think part of that stems from being very very skinny growing up. When I was 17 yrs old, I was the same height (6'2") and 175 lbs. That's a 45 lb difference to what I am today! In fact, I was so skinny as a freshman in high school that the Seniors called me 'Olive Oil,' a reference not to actual olive oil, but to popeye's wife! I guess I have the last laugh though, as I resemble more popeye than olive oil now! The reason I bring this up is that I wasn't always built like this, it wasn't just God-given, it was self-willed, and it should show you that you yourself can change your physique, whether it is losing weight or gaining muscle.
