Running, High Intensity Interval Training, 260 lbs

'I am a 22 year old that is looking to burn about 5-10 pounds to get to my fitness goal. I have really been targeting my cardio workouts to achieve this. To lose these extra pounds I was wondering: is it better to run a longer distance or strive for a more intense run? Right now I run between 3 and 3 1/4 miles 5-6 times per week. Do I need to increase that distance/overall run or should I work to get a faster mile time for those 3 miles? Thanks in advance!'

'I weigh 260 pounds, 6'2 and I can't seem to lose weight! I've wanted the rock hard abs I've seen all my life on TV and on advertisements. I want those! I work out 5 days a week for about a hour (all my schedule will allow). I'm totally lost on how to diet and what kind of diet/supplements I should take. Also I don't have an effective workout routine. Please help!'
