"You said that you needed me to tell you wat i meant by eating right. well i eat two eggs in the morning with a piece of whole wheat toast. Then for lunch i have a Grapefruit and a lean deli turkey sandwhich for lunch. and for supper i have a cups worth of chicken parmasean and pasta. My real question is i have decided to make time to excercise so what would be the best excercise routine for someone that is just starting out "

"Hey Pete, love your blog. I was wondering if you ever ran into this situation. I live a very fast paced and social lifestyle. Sometimes it's not always ideal to stay home and cook all of my meals. My friends like to go out and eat, and sometimes that includes fast food. I am an ectomorph and I do have a hard time gaining in the gym, but I don't want to eat a lot of fat and sacrifice getting a lean look while I continue to work in the gym and gain muscle. What would your advice be for eating out or eating fast food (say McDonalds as a worst example)? Is there anything I can order that is really recommended? This isn't necessarily a rare occasion for me, so some direction would be highly appreciated!"

"Hi Pete, My question for you is about my final stretch to meeting my weight loss goal. Starting in December I decided it was time to do something about the weight I had been carrying around for years. I am 23 years old 6 ft 3 and 1/2 in and started out at a weight of 380 pounds. Since then I have lost 150 pounds. All the weight I loss was through eating clean and exercise weights and cardio. I have been overweight since the second grade and this is the thinnest I have been my entire adult life. I don't have a goal weight I have more of a image of the way I want my body to look and feel. I can tell I'm getting closer to the end and I want to know should I change my workout and diet now so I can concentrate on gaining muscle. I have heard that muscle will burn fat and I am just wondering if trying to lose all my body fat and then trying to gain muscle is better or trying to gain muscle now while still decreasing my body fat is a better idea. I have been trying to increase my protein already, trying to eat as many grams of protein as I weigh. I workout 6 days a week four days weight training and 6 days of a hour + of cardio. Do you have any suggestions? I hope this all made sense. Thank You Joe "

"Hey Pete, I have had a pouch of belly fat ever since I can remember. It has gotten bigger with age. It doesn't matter how well I eat, or how much I work my abs, the impossible belly fat just won't go away. Any suggestions, I'd love to hear from you."
